Re name new pony? Do some names just not "fit"? HELP

Ok....I bought a new pony today for the children. He is in the PG if looking at him will help you decide.

He is 14 so may have had his name "fancy" or( Mr Fancy Pants) for a long time. I just do not think that "fancy" is a very boy-ish name for a gelding and I am not so sure it fits.

Maybe I just cannot see myself calling him that

My oldest daughter wants to re name him "Biscuit" but I am not sure of that either.

Do you re name a horse that old ? Does it even matter?

what does he look like to you? (now be noice..he is a loving family pet!

I may still keep his name...still waiting to know him a little better

ive just bought 3 new ones and i havent asked their names.
whatever is on the papers is one thing, but as for stable names, i dont want to know, then i can just call them what i like
