Hello,
My Old boy Of 19 years has been on off lame for the last 5 years.
After having a shoulder injury as a youngster he's always been sensitive on that leg.
Usually when he goes lame he's given a few days off on box rest and he comes sound.
However recently even after rest and bute he's still lame, vet reckons it's his tendon and is due to come back to see him in a few weeks, but what is the best course of action?
1.box rest +stable bandages
2. Box rest + bute
3. Turnout
4. Turnout + bute any other suggestions??
Oh and there's no heat in the leg and no noticeable swelling, but he is quite a hairy legged pony
Thanks for any help
