I sent my chaps to Ariat at the end of last week and I have just received a brand new replacement pair

I am so chuffed!! Hope everyone who was going to get in touch with them has such a totally fab result!!!!

Can I ask how old yours were? One of my zips falls down but they are quite well used now so I think I'd feel a bit cheeky sending them back!

Mine were 18 months old, although I explained that I only use them over the summer (have big warm boots in winter

). Its def worth an email to them in the first instance, so many people were saying in the original post that they had the same problem that it must have been a faulty batch or a design flaw. Good luck!

Thanks... I'll have to go and have a look at the condition of them I think (it's been so long since I have used them!), mine are the crown pro ones, are yours the same?

I'm so sorry I havent replied to you earlier! I wasnt ignoring you, I've been off work with food poisoning

Anyway... mine were the Close Contact chaps, not Crown Pro, but its still worth a shot. I sent mine back with horse grease on and they didnt quibble!
