I wrote a few months about my mare who had been diagnosed with a neck injury most likely through a fall. The advice after bone scan and x-rays was to turn her out for 6 months and then to x-ray her again and see how she was with flexion tests and lunging and the tail sway test which she failed 6 months ago. Delighted to say all seems well. She passed test and vet want me to start long reining her and sitting on her slowly. There are changes on her neck but they have settled. I just thought I would share my good news.:D:D:D

That is brilliant news, especially as I was one of those who replied outlining my horses history of his neck injury which developed into CVM/wobblers and I lost him.

I am so pleased it has all worked out for you both x

Thanks. I was very sceptical as well. I guess it has helped that she is young (6). She still has a long way to go and I will take her back to Liphook 3 months after riding her. keeping fingers and toes crossed for her. Such a sweet and genuine mare.:D
