I have been asked by Angua2 to post, as apparently following on from the young lady who was pulled from her horse, there has been another attack, somewhat more serious than before as the rider has been raped.

This took place on Fairmead, Chingford, Essex yesterday

Please dont hack out on your own for your own safety in this area. More details to follow when Angua2 gets them, or gets to her computer

a bump or a comment keeps thjis at the top of the page for those who have their options set to viewing the most recent/popular threads. telling you this means i dont need to say bump!!

Bump is used on forums to keep the thread at the top of the page, so people will notice it. In this case it is essential so people can be aware and keep safe. I hope the scum bag wa**er that did this, pays big time.

I have always done lots of hacking alone too, and dog walking - I don't have much choice, I live on my own.

I hope they catch this barsteward soon.

I have just got in!.

The lastest is that this second report is a hoax..... a sick one at that.

According to the forest wardens who were out in force today they have not been informed of any second attack, but they do know where this second report stems from and the police and themselves are dealing with it.

My yard and some others are on lock down at the moment.

HOWEVER........ The initial assalent is still at large, so please please could everyone in the area try and hack out in company..... PLEASE STAY SAFE

Wow some people have really sick minds to start spreading this story around as a rumour

It was on my mind today as I pretty much always walk the dogs/hack out alone, it has never crossed my mind TBH that I might be attacked, otherwise I think I would never go anywhere

Glad it isnt true, and that the original girl attacked got away, but it has made me think!

6 foot something bloke, grabbed her from behind and dragged her off her 15.1 horse, who then reared and kicked the attacker allowing the girl to remount and get away

TBH I have never thought twice about riding alone in this area until now

I ride on the forest and heard this early today - we called Essex Police and the rangers at the Warren for information - neither had heard of any attack since the first incident last week.

We rode in a group today but are hoping that the latest incident is just a hoax.

None the less, anyone who rides on the forest should be extra viglilant at the moment.
