I have had by boots for about 5 years but do take the time to clean and condition them so they do look really good. Today they yard flooded and i ended up standing in a foot of water for 6 hours, when i took them off my socks were wet. Do you think i can re waterfroof them of are they ruined? The leather isnt cracked or anything and i have put newspaper in them to dry them out. Any ideas?

I think dubarry do a re-waterproofing lotion, although it may be aimed more at the boat shoes than "our" boots.

I think you just overloaded them - even when they're used for sailing in, they don't stand in a foot of water for 6 hours!

I expect its gone through the stitching rather than anything else. Use the Dubarry conditioner and slap loads on or use oakwood saddle stuff, I think they actually make the Dubarry cream.
