Sorry for being dim but had never heard of this before.
What is it? Who can have it? Why do you feed it? How much do you give?
I have a 16hh horse which has virtually no grazing at the minute - she goes out all day but it's pretty much mud with a green tinge (was supposed to be being rested then YO put 4 horses in it!). I put hay in her field and she gets loads of hay on a night but wondered if readigrass would be good to feed in the stable and give her half as much hay as I have been doing. I've had a few days recently where she has gone off eating her hay and left quite a bit. Any advice would be helpful.

It smells lovely - good enough to eat yourself!
All mine like it.

Hi - I first bought a bag of readigrass to give our fussy eating Connemara, who was going to a 3-day event. Normally he spends a lot of time out at grass, and was really going to miss this, as he was going to be stabled 24/7 for 6 days. I should say that he also cribs when anxious.

Couldn't believe how good the readigrass was, and it really did help with the transition from grass to stabled, and he absolutely loves it!

The bag lasted ages as I was combining it with haylage. I now use it in his feed instead of chaff, as it has completely transformed his fussiness. Also means that the feed takes longer to eat, which is good on these dark nights when they are in, and bored.

All my horses get it now in one amount or another - very versatile, and a bag goes a long way!!
Can't recommend enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just an addendum to last post - the bag lasts for ages if you are using it like I do - not a complete subdsitute for hay but as chaff in the feed, and as an extra for those who are used to grazing, but are now stabled. Try one bag and see!
