Reading livery yard recommendations please!!

Hello - I posted this in NL yesterday but sidn't get much feedback so thought I'd try here as well! I'm moving down to Reading with my job in March and need to bring my horse with me. I'll be working and living in the town centre and need a yard within a 30-45 minute drive which offers part-livery with the occasional bit of schooling and maybe lessons. Seeing as I'll be riding in the evenings a floodlit arena is a must and my horse is used to daily turnout in company so that would be another necessity. I'd like to have some company for hacking and I don't want to be on a 'cliquey' yard or one where I have to get togged up in the latest line of german equestrian fashion in order to be accepted! My interest is mainly eventing (aspiring novice) although I go out and about to a bit of dressage & SJ too. Any recommendations would be really appreciated - also PM me if there's anywhere that I should avoid as I really don't know the area at all. Thank you :-)))
 
Sorry don't know Reading too well but two i have heard which are sort of near are Hall Place and Cullinghood.
Not recomending them as i don't know them but as you had no replies thought i'd answer with something

IIm not too far from Reading and Twyford is just east of Reading and has quite a few yards.

Im not sure of the names though but I have seen them advertised at Countrywide (Twyford) where I get my feed from.

I know of Cullinghood which is in Pangbourne. Thats quite a big yard from what I remember and they have two outdoors and is also a riding school as well as a livery yard.

Ill try and get the names of the other places when I next get my feed.

Thanks for the feedback - I'd really prefer not to be in a riding school unless there are numerous arenas. I kept my horse at a riding school when I first got him and found it very inconvenient to plan my riding around all of the lessons as we couldn't use the arenas when lessons were going on which was every evening and all weekend!
I've made enquiries about Hall Place, Cullinghood and Wellington - Hall Place seems to have very limited off road hacking which would be a problem as my horse doesn't like wheels! PM's re. Cullinghood haven't been great due to high turnover of staff and I think that I would get 'lost in the crowd' at Wellington but I think that it will be a great to be able to compete there.
I'm not bothered which direction from Reading I go as I'll be living in the town centre.
I've had stacks of PM's recommending Cane End Stud but can't find a website - does anyone have any info?

Hi I have space at my yard in Hook for Part livery. We are about 20mins from Reading.We have floodlit rubber/sand menage-rideable even in this weather, Post and rail fencing all year round turnout,local hacking,common land not far from the yard. Extras can be done such as schooling etc and we have a visiting trainer for lessons etc. Let me know if you are interested.
