Just wondered if anyone is going to Bilsthorpe this Sunday coming (20th)? Does anyone know what sort of day it is, e.g woodlands/single track work or more open field coverage? Never been but just wanted to see if anyone could give me a heads up. :grin:

I've done the summer rides from there, lovely ground lot of it will be around the edge of Sherwood Pines, woods, sand tracks and very little road work, lots of logs to jump if memory serves me right. So tempted....................

Is that at Inkersall Kennels, Bilsthorpe? If so, its a varied mixture. From what I remember, you will start off in woodlands, but no doubt in true Readyfield style there will be plenty of fields!
I did one of their ambles from there to, and it was lovely.

Hmm, so plenty of low branches again then in woodlands. Am in two minds you see as blidworth the other week was very awkward at times because it was all woodland and trying to do low branches on a 16.3 was a pain in the back (literally). Will see what transport i can get and take it from there then :O)

I'm supposed to be going - but with my youngster this time rather than the nutty 9yo. I went to Blidworth the other week too, so agree with you Midlander - low branches will not be appreciated!!
