I was just wondering if anyone else feeds any of the ReadyMash Feeds?
I can't seem to find much about them online but I am going to start feeding after my Mare's "neighbour" has reccomended it after trying everything to get her horse to stop Scouring whilst eating Haylage and this has helped? My mare (although she doesn't scour) isn't agreeing with haylege atm (have put her on hay at night now instead, but still has access during the day) and hoping it will help.

I have seen very good results with it - a friend's horse had colic surgery and lost a huge amount of weight. He was put on ReadyMash + Sumo (also by Rowen Barbary) and he has regained the weight plus he has such a great shine to his coat!

My Mum's veteran (aged 19) has just gone onto it as he lives out and can drop weight over the Winter. Mum makes it with warm water and her horse loves it - he also has a great shiny coat and is holding his weight despite their fields not having a lot of grass left (he is fed 1/2 bale hay a day too!)
Definitely recommend it, if you need super-weight gain there is Ready Mash Extra too.

I've used these products before. I've used the Ready Mash and the Sumo before. The mash is great. It's mainly fibre so good for the digestive system. A bag goes a long long way to as you have to soak it.

Hiya.. i feed my veteran Ready Mash Extra.. Hes kind of out 24/7 but has access to his field stable too 24/7.. this is the first year hes been kept like this and he always seems to lack weight in the winter and i seem to have to feed him loads of feed but hes not worked.. So thats not a good idea so this year i changed his feed gradually over to Ready Mash and hes looking good.. Hes got a nice shiny coat and just the right amount of weight.. Its good stuff and when its really cold i make it up with warm water for him and he just loves it.
 
I have used Ready Mash Extra on my mare, who lost a lot of weight going into winter. She has been on it for just over a month, and is now looking fab, her weight is perfect and her coat is shining.

I have had my horse on a ready mash for the past 2 winters he absolutly loves it! His condition and weight are both good.
