Did anyone watch the Real A&E on sky last night when it showed poor Emma being treated by the Air Ambulance for concussion following a bang to the head after falling off her horse? It was a fun ride that I went on last year and I think its the same one as I'm going to on Sunday again. I recognised the scenery straight away as I have vivid memories of the air ambulance hovering overhead in the field next door to where I was riding and being totally amazed that my horse was unfazed by the loud noise of the rotor blades. This was about half a mile into the ride and it was horrible having the awful realisation that someone must have come off their horse and was in need of urgent help. The film crew that were with the air ambulance filmed some of the riders riding past and they filmed me and my horse Bailey too.

Luckily Emma made a full recovery in Coventry University Hospital where she was eventually air lifted to, but it was really weird seeing events replayed last night on the telly.

I wonder if anyone knows how Emma is now or if she's going on the ride again this year? I had a bad bang to my head and suffered with severe concussion several years ago now so I no how it effects you, its horrid.

God bless our Air Ambulance, they are so brilliant.
