I've been lurking for ages, finally got up the courage to post!
I'm looking for horses/a horse to ride in the Essex area. I'm not really looking for a part loan, more somebody who needs their horse exercising/looking after a couple of days a week. I'm not a novice rider but I'm also not incredibly experienced. I'm fairly quiet and capable, but I've never competed at all, and I don't have loads of experience with young horses. I've worked at yards, taught a little bit but again, I'm not the best. Obviously I don't expect to get paid, but ideally I'd like to help out instead of pay towards costs. Do you think there is anyone who would want my help, or am I better off waiting until I have my BHS stages and then advertising? Does anyone here ride other people's horses for them, and if so, how did you find them?
