Why are the police not interested in investigating an assault?
Because they say it's her word against 8 othersWhy are the police not interested in investigating an assault?
Is it really a case of neighbour dispute, not the reality of fireworks ?Bonny, Not that I have heard, I spoke to the lady in question but she's too scared to do anything about it still in case her horse's are targeted.
I’m guessing that’s why the police aren’t taking action, the neighbours presumably have a very different storyI don't know, can't comment about the neighbour dispute as such but letting fireworks off over her field IS breaking the law
It's her word against theirs, not enough evidence I would say and I know from past experience if the police can wriggle out of doing anything they willI’m guessing that’s why the police aren’t taking action, the neighbours presumably have a very different story

I suppose the photo doesn’t prove it was her neighbours that hit her. However, as she has photographic evidence of her injuries, it isn't really her word against theirs, unless, of course, one of the neighbours also has photos of injury.
