Really difficult to empty nut ball wanted

My boy has got the red round nut ball and the decohedron type balls. They used to take him a good half an hour to empty but now has it sussed to about 5 minutes.

I've tried putting cubed, sliced, chopped carrots in them to slow the release of the nuts but that doesn't work either.

So can someone please recommend a nut ball which is really hard to empty or ideas on how to safely make the hole smaller.

My boy susses where the hole is, rolls the ball over and then wiggles the ball back and forth rapidly and tadda nuts fall out!

Plug the hole with swede, then he won't get any till he eats the plug out!!!

I have the red snak-a-ball for my youngster. I put nuts in the bottom half (with the removable lid) then turn it over and fill the top half with chaff through the small hole. I really stuff it in til it's very full, it takes him ages to get everything out! I hope that made sense!
