rEALLY GOOD MOUNTING BLOCKS

I wasn't trying to advertize and I don't work for this company or have any connection with them. However I am older and find mounting difficult especially as I have a bad back and a horse with a very round slippy back. Where I used to keep him they had a marvellous mounting block and I have been searching all over to find a range like it. Have FINALLY found it and there may be other people like me out there so this was just to help them.

Hi Shelley,

Thanks for bring these to my attention. I don't see it as advertising - more as sharing useful information. If we can't share it here we can we?

Mr Ed

Thanks what a good link..
I do get fed up with people jumping on anyone attempting to do others a good turn, I for one appreciated this suggestion for the same reasons as you, I can't leap on at 58 as I did at 18!!!

Hubby made me a fab one. Steps on it are 1ft, 2ft and 3ft high. Can get on 16.3 horse without needing stirrups!

My hubby made me two mounting blocks out of Yorkshire boarding and some spliced fencing rails. They're fabulous. One for the yard (hacking) and one for over the field.

He's made a couple for friends too.

thanks for the info, had asked about mounting blocks under another area, another reader pointed this out for me!! it is very useful to be able to ask for help in whatever area you need it!!
