I love human names for dogs - especially the sort of names than don't get used for kids any more. My next dog will be Malcolm or Clive. (he will be a boy)

Dave.
I just think it would be funny to say 'Me and Dave are off to the pub'....
(I know it is bad grammar, still amuses me.)

I have a Scout (pointer) and wanted to call the next one Drum (no idea why just liked it) but when I saw a picture of him he suddenly became Cole.
So Drum or Bear.

A friend of mine had a poodle called Beso which was an unusual name which I quite liked. Bear is a good name too.
I may not be the best judge though as my dogs are called Brown Dog and Bovril.

Not a name suggestion but at one of the shoots I pick up on they have a poodle and a cockerpoo on the beating line. They are fab at it, but those burrs...worse than a spanner!
