We've had the new horse Sert for a week yesterday and when we went to pick him up I walked him home (only an 1hr) because we were told he dont do trailers. Been hacking him out this week only for half a hour at a time but I wanted to try him on the trailer this weekend. So yesterday we planned to take him to my friends yard who's got a school (10 min by road) but on the trailer. So we loaded murph 1st and then tried to get Sert on, he refused at the start and paniced when we put the lunge rope round his bum so I told my mum to put it down and shouted for god sake grow up and with that he walked straight on
Had a lovely lesson with my friend
and then jumped Murph
and he loaded 1st time on the way home
So after taking the dogs to the beach decided to do the same tonight, Murph went on 1st and then Sert stopped at the end on the ramp, turned to him and said Dont you dare and he walked straight up
Rode murph 1st and went over some dressage for thur then it was serts turn. We put a jump up sat to try him on the lunge and he flew it, so after warming up we put poles on the ground and after a few rounds we put it to a cross
His 1st jump with rider and he was a bit scared but popped it
Hes a cracking little horse
