Yard xmas do last night so everyone at the yard this morning was feeling a little jadded to say the least. Took all day to turnout much out etc.
OH went for a lovely ride on his old cob and had a great time then when he got back I hopped on my 3 1/2 year old Alee and we went for a short 15 min hack.
This is the first time I have a hacked her out (someone else has a couple of times) and she was an absolute superstar. I came back to the yard with such a huge grin on my face.
We then had to ride Spike, he was diagnosed with kissing spines last week and had steroid injections etc so today was the first day back on to see if it had worked. The last few times OH has ridden him he has landed on the ground within 5 mins.
Got on and rode him in the schhol on the end of the lunge just in case he decided its till hurt and although worried that it may hurt him again he was a really good boy.
All round a very good day and now i'm back at home in the warm.
