Please can I have some recommendations for some very grippy gloves? I usually use just normal magic glove style pimple palms on rubber reins but have since found out hunting, once pony is a bit sweaty and/or it's rained, I have no grip....! Which is not good!
I have heard MacWets are meant to be good and was going to get those, but if anyone has any other ideas, I would be glad to hear them

Thanks

I had a pair of 'Good Hands'. The aren't very expensive and have nice rubberish grips stuff on them.

The got pinched out of my car the other day, so I'm going to have to replace them!

Thanks, were yours rubber or leather reins? I found leather on rubber quite slippery? Maybe I just need to grip more!!

Ok thanks, will have a look and see what they are like.
Forgot to say, I also have very small hands so prefer them to be as thin as possible!

No the leather is very grippy, i have been doing all sorts of fast work in them, they are very good value for money compared to the posher brand names.

Excellent thanks.
Thanks all for the suggestions, will have a look at the BOSJ as going on the Friday(Or Ebay if no luck there!) and see what they have, it's good to know the ones that actually work

i have macwets, they are expensive, but i think worth every penny. they're also quite thin, so good for feeling the contact etc.

I have had roeckl ones as well, but found these wore out far to quickly!!

Happy searching!

i like the roeckel chester gloves. they look really smart, like leather, are really comfy, long lasting (my current pair are about 3 years old) and stay grippy even when Ron is lathered up! plus they're only about £20.

i would say a big NO to macwets, very expensive and mine wore out in no time- wasnt impressed
got some rodney powels and love them, or some simple leather ones
