ohh what a lovely boy!! my welshie use to click when young and doesnt click now, somthing to do with the joint but the musles get stronger to support it! hense no clicking now..

My little welsh D in the photo below ( passed away last Christmas 15yrs) used to have a clicking near fore shoulder, I noticed it when he was about 3 whilst bringing him in from the field, quite a distinctive click. He also used to go a little short going up hill, but not truly lame.

I was referred to potters bar for xrays, all was nad and I just had to live with the click, it did get less as he got older and never caused him any problems, still managed to buck/rear and spin on a sixpence in 30 seconds........

I just made sure he had cod liver oil, linseed and a small amount of limestone flour each day.

I'm sure your young man will be fine, good luck, I'm quite jealous.......Welsh/palomino........fab combination
