Gave a friend a lift to work today as her car has conked out, and she said that she always thought that you couldn't train an older dog, that you had to have it from a puppy - but that Henry and I had proved that you could

And she's even taken him for walks, so she really knows what he's like!

The worst one was when one of our dear, dear, longtime friends gave me a big speech about all the work I had put in and how B was a credit to me, I was almost in tears.
Then the big fecker proceeded to try and take the face off said friend's young female

Good ol Henry bucking the trend - has he polished his dogs trust badge today? He's a very worthy ambassador!

Awww bless Henry. You have done so well with him, due to all the time and effort you've devoted to get him right.

I do agree that it is probably easier to instill training from a pup, but I don't agree it's impossible in an older dog....although I'd concede it is probably more frustrating and requires insane amounts of patience.

Henry is a dude! I was so thrilled to meet him last month.
