Ok, I've currently got 4 horses 2 of which are in-foal. I've decided I won't put them back in-foal as i miss driving them like crazy.
So I've been looking for a broodmare. I've found the perfect one, graded, great bloodlines, produced fantastic progeny including a graded stallion
11th stallion down- Shingle Hall Senator
I've emailed owner who sounds lovely. The mare sounds perfect except that she has 2 sarcoids on her chest which are currently being treated. I don't know what type they are yet but they are being treated. Would this put you off her??
Now shes not too expensive either, and I already know what stallion I'd put her too. She has also been EVA and CEM swabbed last week which will come back next week but she expects them to come back clear.
So what would you do? Advice please, and things for me to think about, much appreciated.
I'm just not sure if I should go for it or leave it for another year until looking for a broodmare
