Really odd advert

Very odd advert.....i dont see why you need to a sell a mare for being in season?!?! And like you say very strange photos...just the kind of advert you skip past when your looking im afraid

Don't really see whats wrong with the advert. Looks a nice sort of mare for the money they are asking, pictures just show her being affectionate, enjoying a hack in open country and being bombproof around scary looking farm machinery. Seems an honest sort of advert to me.

i think (don't quote me) is that her mare being in season is setting her geldings/stallions off and causing a problem possibly and think the pictures are to show shes bomb proof maybe? nothing in the add to say what she does im confused to if shes hack only or able to do other things very strange add that tbh looks rushed up

Oh its not just me then I just though it was a odd advert. Probably genuine though. You would think that the price it is to advertise on horsemart you would actually have a decent advert.

Shouldnt even be looking!! I have a mare in foal hopefully, and a pony to break in and sell on next year if I conivince my sister to part with her. I am in my last year of uni and work on top of that. I am riding a friends horse I dont even need a horse!! I am so bad.

my boys out on loan as i dont have time for him at mo with my new baby but i still find myself looking at ads its just something i think you do :D

That ad sends shivers down my spine. she looks older than ten.

The picture with the man on her back makes me feel funny - very wierd. If only I could afford to have her. :(

The first thing that rang warning bells for me was grey but passported blue and White! I know this is possible but it's not the first thing you'd pit in an advert is it??

she looks a nice sort, kind and honest. Maybe the seller doesnt have much experience selling horses, i see what he is getting at with the pics, but you can't really see how she is put together at all cause of the angles.

I agree, also the guy says his geldings are the issue when she comes into season, maybe they get a bit fruity?

She's coloured that has blanked out, nothing wrong with stating that, perhaps they are trying to attract a coloured breeder? Think you lot are being a bit cynical, there are far worse adverts on there with pictures that are a complete waste! That horse looks solid, honest, and they seem to be doing the same. We had a mare that caused carnage with her flirting, she wasn't any trouble but the boys were a nightmare. Can see why some people would decide to move her on.
Having said that, they do seem to have a few horses for sale or recently sold. So may be small dealer. Still looks a nice type of ned tho!
