@*?!ing clipper blades

at least it isnt that noticeable, i clipped taz yesterday and decided to take his legs off too, i have got one of the outside of his leg done, started the other one then my clippers died, then i got the trimmers out to try finish off and then they died to so he looks stupid only having not even a full leg clipped lol!

Very true, you've made me feel better! Thankyou :) No rug dilemmas for a few more days either, she's got plenty of fuzz (and lard :o) to keep her warm!

She looks lovely fluffy, I would love to leave her like this

But she does get a bit sweaty when I ride her, bless her!

Oh, she is lovely :).

I have a clipping dilemma with mine. My previous horse had uch TB blood, so didn't need clipping, one before that had a full hunter, as that's what we did, hunt.

The one I have now is getting sweaty but I'd rather not clip if I can help it. Time will tell if I need to succumb or not.

Wow, what a stunner! She is so gorgeous! At least with her pretty colouring the funny bit should be hardly noticable while it grows out or you get to clip again!

Thank you :) She does have donkey lugs which make her look very alert - and a very clever brain to match, I'm regularly outsmarted :o

She is truly stunning! What's her name? :)

Petra, but she is affectionately known as Mrs P :) You're all being very kind about her, she's not exactly HOYS quality - I once asked a judge at a beginners' show what he thought and he spent about 5 minutes reeling off a list of her conformation flaws, but when I went to view her I thought 'I think we could have a lot of fun together, me and her' and bought her anyway ;) I didn't want a mare either :o Wouldn't part with her now, she's my best friend!

Aww, that's a cute name :)
Aww, I didn't want a grey mare or a cob type when i went looking for my first horse, and I ended up with a grey skewbald cobxID mare haha.
Who cares if she's not perfect conformation wise? You love her and you do, as you say have lots of fun together so what does it matter? :)

Awww she's pretty!!

Don't worry, I did a full clip on friday, and the bloody clippers left so many lines she looks like a swirly artex ceiling lol!! AND she decided she didn't want between her front legs done, so has a hairy patch there......... :D :D :D :D :D

Functional, not pretty. It'll do the job so I don't care lol!!!!!!

Awww shes so pretty and im not a usual fan of coloureds but she is so cute :D ... I loved the fuzzyness of my wee tb it was so cute, but it was always clippered off lol

Yay more Ps! Mrs P is also the name of a 90+ year old lady I know who is more sprightly than I was in my teens, so I'm hoping my Mrs P takes after her ;) (I put it down to the fabulous Mrs P sloe gin! :D)

Here is a clue to the 'spot the bit of horse that was clipped very slightly' puzzle

Yup gold star to everyone who said shoulder  She's stood up against some structural steelwork & that's obscuring her back leg, she does really have four legs, not three + an RSJ :o
