Ebay rant here guys.

A woman bid on my saddle last week and then got really mad with me when I said I would have to wait until the payment clears. Now this is standard selling I do and is stated on the items, which, if she had read, she would have realised. I then post it and she rants about it being used (as advertised) and 16.5" (also as advertised) and is now going to leave me bad feedback. I feel like smashing the computer into a million pieces, what a bad ebayer.

Have you left her feedback yet......if not don't......if she leaves negative feedback then neg her in reply but state fact. Unfortunately if she has left you unwarrated negative feedback you cannot get it removed unless it's by mutual consent, which I doubt will happen in this case.

Some people want something for nothing, others don't read the adverts properly, if everything she's moaning about was covered in the advert then you have no problems.

How she can moan about you waiting for payment to clear before sending the item lord knows....everyone gets a negative feedback at some point, it's only a matter of time. As long as you give accurate feedback in reply then it would not stop me dealing with you in the future ....don't worry.

My college at work (as at work at the mo!) and is a regular on Ebay said take it into the Dispute panel and then you can sort it out......maybe the fact she can't read!

...Also it will save your computer being smashed into little bits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't know that about the dispute so thanks for that as I thought that it was only useful if you had a seller who did not supply goods, wrong goods, etc and you were the buyer. Or else you were a seller and they did not pay etc.
Had experience of both on there.
I was left a couple of nasty feedbacks which were not justified in my opinion as they were in the wrong ( sellers) one only supplied half the goods claiming they had been left in a post office yeah right! said they were only their way and they never turned up. Had to negotiate a settlement of a partial refund even though it had cost me more than that to buy less items than I had won on holiday ( as it was fishing stuff) seller sent reels etc but no fishing rods (2) nor the tripod and then had the gall to leave me shitty feedback after I left him neutral for the partial refund and messing around.
It was so obvious he was lying but I could not prove it, how the hell can you prove something like that. Oh and he also charged me £25 postage for parcelforce and the items that did arrive came by standard parcel service costing less than a tenner. So think I had every right to be angry. Wish I had known about the removal of feedback then as it made me to look the bad party until the seller ripped two more people off even selling a boat trailer that was not road legal!
Another who left me bad feedback was a seller who just used a cut and paste advertising off the internet to describe his item a sony walkman. When it arrived ( I knew it was used no hassle with that) it did not have sony headphones and nor the rechargable batteries that were in the listing. Said he would send batteries and never did even though I gave him over a month to do so. I left him neutral and he left me shitty how do you work that one out?
So Rosie I know where you are coming from.....
Have also had a few dodgy buyers as well. Luckily they didn't leave negative though good job as I had done nothing wrong.
I certainly agree about the waiting for funds to clear especially if it is for a larger amount. I mean we as individuals are not financially equipped to give credit are we? If we sent an item in good faith and did not receive payment you could kiss the item goodbye and the payment as well because it had been sent before payment was made.
I would not take that risk except with items less than a tenner and if the buyers have excellent 100% feedback.
I hope you manage to sort it out though

When someone tried that on me, I emailed saying be warned, whatever feedback you put I will put double the same on you!
My woman claimed the saddle was ripped and filthy, so I sent her the extra pics I'd taken showing it clean and not damaged. guess what, she put it back on ebay he same week as in excellent condition....
Fight back....
