On saturday it was reported that a horse had been stolen from a field near where I live, she was a 23 year old bay mare, and her field companion was left behind and was distraught and had been injured.

Yesterday when I went into the tack shop I found out that she hadn't been stolen at all but she had been found dead near her field.

How awful for the poor horse and her poor owners :(

this was Penny i believe, poor horse and very sad for the owners- she must have thought she was going to die, as other animals do. so sad-
