Really sorry - another BE renewal....

I've already rung the office once this morning so want to leave off doing it again for a bit! Renewed me online, and on my page it now says renewal date 2008, however it won't let me renew William, says I'm not currently registered. Does it take some time until payment clears or something? Would it be quicker to do it by snail-mail? Thanks all, I know BE membership posts have been done to death.
 
Oh, it's doing it now. Only thing is shagging "select a passprt Issuing Authority" question.... He's got a BWP passport, overstamped by BSJA. Can I just say BSJA

That's what I would have said! But I'm not given an option to tick anything other than British PIA. However, despite them saying this is a mandatory field I didn't click anything and it went through so will wait and see. I really don't understand a;l this passport malarky, just read Liberty's properly for the first time and found out I'm supposed to send it off to SHBGB as I'm now his owner...

Well I've put all that on my debit card (check out my halo!), so in a few days I'll be able to get on with spending more money on entry fees..... hurrah - I think.....
 
if your passport already had the human consumption bit in it then it was already a european proper passport - so then BWP

If by overstamping you mean you have a sticker on it from the BSJA then no that isn't a passport.

I sent Olympics to them to make into a proper passport and they sent it back as it was already (human consumption was in it)

But Floyd has got one from them as his KWPN passport didn't have it in. His looks like a proper passport blue with the BSJA logo on the front
 
Does anyone know how it works if the passport says 'un-named'?

Merry has a weatherbys racing passport - would cost a blooming fortune to officially name him (don't know how much).

Will he be OK eventing with a blank passport?
 
I had this problem, as my boys are all ISP passports, and there's no option for them.. as you've already done, just bypass that field, it doesn't matter.. i rang BE and as it's a renew it all good

and SillyMare.. i think it's fine to reg. a horse with an un-named Weatherbys passport..
 
i'm 99.9% sure you don't have to bother.. there are soooo many un-named horses with weatherbys passports out there!
Call it whatever you want, and don't worry about it not being in his passport!!!
