Could anyone recommend one please for a serial rug ripper?
Preferably one with no or very little filling.

I was thinking possibly Amigo 1200D light

or

Rhino original turnout lite (but v.expensive so would have to be worth it)

Thanks for your help!

I find Jumpers rugs from Old Dairy Saddlery good for my mare. Also, Decethlon have a sale on at the moment so might be worth looking there.

I went for the Amigo 1200 light at the end of the summer. WB 600D had had it. Mare has sweet itch, I can't decide if its her finding places in the field I've missed (where I just cant think) to rub on or her field mate nipping which would explain the holes above the tail part.

It was still holding up fine after a months use without as much as a scratch mark on it. So I would say worth a try first before splurging on the Rhino one.

We have Rambo rugs on a 10th winter, never needed repair, stay in place and don't rub. I thought the Amigo is the 'budget' range made by Horseware and have never used them, but would recommend Rambo without hesitation.
