....for horse/pony welfare in general when large well-known dealers are selling animals to people who don't know one end of a horse from another??
Customer came into tack shop yesterday looking for a 30" girth for a "15 hand cob" that they had been told they would need. Long story short, none of the family ride or have ever ridden, female adult bought horse because "she'd always wanted one". Wanted to know what she should brush horse with.
Poor horse has come from well known-local dealer from whom many friends/acquaintances have purchased. Welfare case in the making
