Hi there,
I'm really worried about my horse she's a 19 year old cob, she had colic surgery last year and was brought back into work this spring. Recently she just hasn't been quite right, she's really funny about me touching her back legs. She used to gallop across the field to see me (even after surgery) but now she just walks. I can hardly get her to move when riding, and she's stamps her back legs all the time but only when being ridden. When mounting she constantly puts her head down, she just doesn't seem right. The vet will be being called but would like some suggestions, is it back pain?
