Really!!

It has been quite a nice day, had the farrier this morning so set off for a little ride. I got no further then the bottom of the road when...............cue.....Thunder, lighting sheet rain and hail! why!? We hid in the hedge, soaked to the skin while the hail hit. My horse tried to crawl under my arm. During a break in the hail and lightning we headed home soaked and dripping. It is now bright sun shine again. No fear i'm not going out again today, to much excitement for me!!

Absolutely typical eh? I left mine in last night so I could work them this morning. It has rained all day! Finally gave up at 4pm - it's not 4:35 and glorious sunshine! Typical! Serves me right for being a fair weather rider I guess...

We had the exact same thing happen to us last Monday lol got a little way up the road and it started raining very heavy etc so my daughter got off and we walked back.
