Followed an Ifor Williams trailer a couple of days ago that was transporting two coloured cob-types and they were both racing rear - you could see their eyes and ears above the ramp. Never seen this before and wondered if it was actually allowed. Anyone know? I'm just curious.....

I have never heard of Ifor making a rear facing trailer. My friend use to have to travel here mare this way.If the mare was facing the right way she would go nuts and kick the hell out of the trailer. In the end my friend got a Equi trek and problem solved.

my friend has had hers converted so that one faces forwards and one faces backwards because both her horses want to stand on the left, but this seems to keep them both happy.

Fortunately they are both 14.2 ish so there's plenty of room for them - I wouldn't want to try with 2 big horses!
