Can anyone help?
I have a sec A and have recently broken her in. Everything has to be done very slowly as she is a worrier. However things you would think she would worry about don't seem to phase her. I took her to a show last year and she reared. We think because it was her first time out. She has started to do this at home as well now though and all though not too much of a problem at mo would like to hear any suggestions on how to stop it becoming a big problem.

I went to a fearless horse demonstration and thought it was sensible advice which would help most people with difficult horses. They have a website and might help you. Its all about moving feet and building trust. I am not really into natural horsemanship but this seemeed like good sensible advice.

Hard to give advice if you don't understand the problem, but it sounds as if it may be a confidence issue, i.e. she does it when you put her under pressure. If that's the case, the best thing you can do is avoid high pressure situations - you need to work on trust & building her confidence. If she learns that life is good & nothing horrible will happen to her, she should hopefully becoming more trusting & less inclined to say 'I can't do this'.

You need think why horses rear? Why is she rearing? Its hard for me to answer these without seeing her. Horses don't tend to rear in fright because horses reaction is to move there feet forward... Rearing wont save them from a charging preditor...Horses are more likely to rear when very confident that they are the bigger, wiser, and better horse and higher in the pecking order then the thing the are rearing to... Horses tend to buck when bluffing to say keep away because the bluff is I'm trying to take lead but I secretly I'm not that strong *horses don't know there own strenght* Horse often buck when asked to do some thing there not happy with for this reason. Probs not much help but might get you thinking on the right ideas.
