so on my 2nd day off work/college this year I get woken up at 7.30am by my dad saying "the horses are out"! so I rushed down to the yard to find the 2 youngsters had knocked down the electric fence (now know the fencing wasn't actually working, so fixing that this morning) and had been for a trip around the farms!

I went and caught them both and my 2 yr old was covered in sweat and seemed a little stressed (my 27yr old mare was calling them from the field and was also stressing) so anyway, i started leading him back and he tried to rear a couple of times, i shouted no at him and he stopped but this is the 3rd time he's tried rearing when he seems stressed or nervous!

I get him in on his own every day and he's fine but if we leave one of the 3 horses in the field and it gets upset, he seems to really stress about it!

does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this? I have a pressure halter and he does seem to respond when i speak firmly to him but i really would like him to not consider doing it at all!
