Well, my OH is very cunning.

last night he was obviously ensuring that when he does the big proposal thing I will say yes!

He has asked a few times and I have said no (jokingly), not because I dont want to but because it was very unromantic and I want it to be special!

Anyway, he told me last night that when we get married he is going to get me a foalie as a wedding present!

He has NO IDEA how much I am going to hold him to that! :-)

unusually cunning for a man!

Although I think I might try and transfer my "foalie" token into a little "lorry" token......
3 horses are more than enough for me!

He he, well your poor other half has really let himself in for it now. Definately time for some negotiating.

When my husband proposed to me it was after a we were throwing a load of peas (petit pois to be exact) at each other, we have now been married 10 years! Don't know what that says about us:rolleyes:

Your probably still married as you have both proved your bonkers!
Always helps....lol

I have told him I would like another ID but I could be really cruel and tell him I want one with Rubenstein lines. He wont have a clue what that means so will probably say "yeh ok" :-)

Yep we are definately bonkers and so far I haven't come across anyone else with a similar proposal story to me!!!!

If he really doesn't have a clue then go for it, there is nothing wrong playing a little, after all your future happiness is at stake here!:D

I was considering a stallion nominationin lieu of an engagement ring some years ago.... but was told very firmly by female friends that it was not a good idea....
