I'm leasing a TB x Clydie gelding who has a very petite head - apart from his super wide forehead! I'm struggling to find a bridle to fit him. He fits perfectly into a cob size lengthwise, probably could go down into a pony size in the noseband, but the browband is most definitely full. I know I could probably just pop extra holes into a full size bridle, but the excess doesn't look amazing as he's even on the small side of cob.
I've currently got him in a cob bridle with a scavenged full size browband, but I'd like to have something that matches as we'll be showing soon, if all goes to plan!
I've had a look at the build-a-bridles and flexi-fits, but the only ones I can find are well over $250, and I'd rather not spend tons on a bridle that will only fit him as he's a lease and I'm not sure how long I'll get to keep him (we'd still like to look nice in the meantime though
).
I figure lots of people probably have this trouble (I'd think people with Arabs in particular!), so does anybody have any tips or ideas? Thank you in advance
