Can anyone help me please? I've just taken possession of a Nissan pickup truck and now want to insure it. I asked for a quote from my usual insurers (the AA) and nearly fell off my chair at the price they quoted me.

I can't be the only one who has decided that a pickup is the way to go for horse-related transport. Can anyone suggest insurers who will give me a reasonable price, please?

Thanks

Unfortunatly our NFU quote has gone through the roof, so we hit compare the market last night, half price with a well regarded insurer, much less excess and fully comp cover! Needless to say our truck insurance is another that we won't be renewing with NFU.

You should try DirectLine, we cut our commercial premium in half this year. We used to be with NFU and they wanted £528. DirectLine were £210 !

Try Direct Line, I am a 24 yr old girl driving a 58 plate ford ranger, clean license but did write a car off 2 yrs ago which i have to declare, and i fully comp and i pay £743.75 a year. x
