He is reliably unreliable, a cold damp fresh morning plus failure to put more than his fly rug on last night equals crazy fresh pony! He went down for a roll in the arena and then erupted up so fast that he forgot to put all his legs under him first, so came crashing back down to the ground. Lay completely still for a few seconds then clearly thought ‘bugger it’, decided to have another roll just to style it out, and then erupted up into fits of zooming. He’ll be 15 next month and shows no sign of growing up yet!

My mare can have crazy heart in mouth field zoomies but behaves like an angel to be ridden. Wind is her trigger!

I had one of these this morning. She was feeling very agile, massive buck with both front feet of the floor at the same time. Was going to ride but was glad I didn't.

So good to read this thread! My Daughter’s pony is being a complete numpty at the moment and I’m thinking it’s the spring grass. Just when you think everything is going fine, another problem arises!!
Keep smiling everyon!
