Please could anyone reccomend a groundwork or Natural Horsemanship book??

I don't do much riding at the moment (and will do even less with winter around the corner) so would like to find some exercises I could try in hand. Preferably in the stable/yard as we have no school, although could go in the field sometimes.

I have a book with inhand schooling exercises, but I can't get along with it easily, so fancied something more like carrot stretches etc, maybe some "trick" like things, bowing etc. Is there anything like that or am I just making it up?!?!

Sorry I'd like to join the post too as I'm interested in the books, I have only been recommended one by my physio but it's comes from the US and was too expensive..

This is meant to be a great book for groundwork - not used it myself but a couple of my friends love it:

Whilst I was searching for that, a couple more popped up as apparently being similar (I know nothing about these two, but you could look at the reviews, have a browse at similar stuff and maybe it would give you somewhere to start?)

Kelly Marks perfect manners gives a good overview of the basics with some exercises to work on. If you want really practical stuff telling you how to do the many groundwork exercises then 101 workmanship exercises is excellent. About 70 of the exercises are groundwork, the others are riding

Sorry guys I've only just seen these replies.

Thanks for the reccommends, I'll have a good look through and see if anything takes my fancy.

Any further reccommends greatfully received... :)
