Not for me but for a friend not on here - she has exusted all the good ones in the south east/london/round the M25 and has asked me to see if there are any good ones in my area around uni (as she can then come and visit me and go horsey shopping, what more could you want?!

So i am at notts but on a campus near loughborough, if anyone knows of anything that would have something that can jump, pref been XC schooled and would suit a 6ft(ish) man (good rider - her husband) please let me know! Oakwood Stud is great - but your extremely unlikely to get anything for £5K from them (unless is a livery sale) - most of their horses are £8K and up...

Stubley HOllow Farm nr Dronfield - bit out of your way but I've had personal experience with them and they were brill.

Snowy - someone we both know works at the place recommended by Lochpearl so I'd second that recommendation.

A number of horses at Barleyfields come from them.

Hi you could try Springfield Irish Horses, Nuthall, Notts , I have bought 2 horses from them in that last 18 months and they were brilliant, really nice people and the horses where exactly as described. I would go back to them again if I was ever in the market to buy - have reccommened them to quite a few friends and they have all been delighted with their purchases.
