Reccomended Feed?

What would you reccommend feeding a 15.3hh Irish draught x cob rising 7. hes a nice healthy weight, an avererage doer. will be in with few hours turn out for about another month or so, on hayage, 2 large haynets a day. dont want any thing heating but want to keep him in nice condition. he will be in work 5ish days a week doing a variety and building up fittness

For a healthy 7 year old, ID x, as little as possible and nothing until he needs it .

Fast Fibre/unmolassed beet and a spoonful of salt when in work.

A handful of oats after hard work if needed.

Ditto Oberon. Can't see him needing fed much.

Quickest way to ruin his feet is to give him lots of scrummy mixes and cubes. And make him fat.

I'd have him on a general supplement feed in something like fast fibre (no sugar, no cereal).

If he needs more weight then just give him more haylege.

My horse is doing great on Dengi Alfa A (the dark blue bag). When needs some oomph some oats and a vitamin and mineral supplement.

My Cob X can get fat on air!! but shes on a small amount of Hifi Lite and handful of cool mix, with 2 sections of hay a night. Shes worked 6 days a week and seems fine on it.
