In my mission to get the Bert more confident mainly around other dogs I have ventured further out from home, no where busy but with a little more going on.
I have worked on loading his name and he's good at that, However I'm struggling out and about to get treats out of a sandwich bag in my pocket quickly, especially with two leads! I'd like something that clips onto me rather than over the shoulder. It love it to be open to just quickly grab without alerting Cecil to the fact there are treats around, He never used to notice a bit of dog food out of a pocket but nicer stuff out of a rustly bag is another matter.
Something washable would be good as I'm using bits of meat or cheese for important situations!

It's hard to tell online which are going to be any good so if anyone can give a specific name or link that would be lovely. Thank you!

Cheap basic bumbag with just one or two compartments.

Or a Tupperware container which naturally stays upright in your pocket, and is loaded with cheese.

I don’t follow my own advice and Rew is often having to wait a while!

I’m afraid I just put treats direct into my pocket , it makes the pocket a bit smelly but it’s my dog walking jacket so I don’t mind. I would just get a bum bag with a couple of compartments and put the treats straight in or put them in a plastic bag inside if you are feeding meat or cheese..

Silicone treat pouch with zip or magnetic closure. Easy to wash. Come with a belt clip or you could put inside big pocket or bumbag. Also silicone ones like a clasp purse but no belt clip.

I was using these but prefer silicone now, Petsafe or Mikki treat pouch with snap spring closure.

Go to Decathlon or a country store and get a clay pigeon shooting, fishing or camera vest to wear over your normal jacket. It's a lot easier to deliver food from an open pocket than it is fiddling around with a bag, IME, and they don't rustle.

If you want something you can use with wet food /meat treats, wash afterwards, and switch to using for dry treats when you feel like it, then that's one of the sales arguments for the silicone dog treat bags. I love my hot pink one, the magnetic lock opened easily for my hand, even when I was wearing not too thick gloves, and kept all or almost all treats still inside it when I inevitably occasionally did something which would've made all treats fall out of it, if it hadn't been for the magnetic lock.

Found that e.g. this site sells "my" model, though they only seems to have the colour electric green: https://www.viovet.co.uk/Rosewood-Silicone-Training-Treat-Bag/c61149/

In winter I just hoy them in my coat pocket which is easy to access. For summer when I don't tend to have many pockets I use a bum bag. Lots of compartments which is useful for poo bags, emergency slip lead, spare whistle etc. Mine is this Fjallraven one - lovely quality although there are far far cheaper ones out there that would do exactly the same job if you don't want to spend quite that much! (mine was a gift)

I just use a bum bag, lots of options.
The one I have has a waterproof pouch that I use for storing the poo!! An iPod type pouch which is great as a poo bag dispenser and the 2 other pockets for treats / phone / keys etc
