Where my stable is it would be easier to purchase some rechargeable clippers just for hogging my cobs mane and clipping his feathers etc. Has anybody got one and would you recommend one. Ideas and thoughts appreciated.

Liveryman Harmony - I have had my set for 3 yrs and are fab. I too have a cob and they cope with his hog and feathers well. Also, as I hunt him, I start clipping early (sept),and find that as long as I don't let his coat get too thick, can also do a full clip with them.
The battery pack lasts really long and can do two full clips with them before they start running low. They are also very quiet and horse friendly, and give a nice finish.
They retail at around £180.
