I have made a fly spray before that had cold tea, citronella, Avon SSS and vinegar in but can't remember the quantities of each. What do you use?

Thanks.

I use:

200ml cider vinegar
1 cup strong cold tea (2/3 teabags)
50ml listerine
50ml dettol
quite few drops (1/4 small bottle) citronella oil and tea tree oil
20-40ml 100% deet (if sensitive skin use neem oil)

its FAB!!!

Thank you. I will try that and maybe swap the DEET for SSS. I am pregnant and I'm pretty sure DEET is something to avoid, which is a pain because it actually works!

added to the above mixture I also boiled some garlic to make garlic water and added that. Also tea tree oil. My old mare was a REALLY bad scratcher and this really worked for her. Also used it on myself, I stank but it kept the horse flies away while I rode, apparently I am quiet a tasty meal :)
