Recipes for home made Mane and Tail....

Hello, i had a great time experimenting with some home made solutions for mane and tail conditioners... unfortunately without much success. They were either too heavier, too sticky and well.... just didn't measure up to the expensive shop brought stuff does anyone have any proven recipes? x x

I've always used cheap wax free furniture polish - I keep it away from the dock etc but it does as good a job as Mane n Tail for a lot less money

I had heard this actually... hmmmm definitely nothing harmful in it? x

None of mine have ever had a reaction in the past 10yrs or so, so I have no qualms about it

I can second this, I use supermarket own brand, enriched with aloe vera! Smells nice cheap and cheerful
