Recipes for stopping filly fromchewing the fence rails?

Does anyone have a homemade recipe for making something I can paint on the fence rails to stop the filly chewing them. Little madam has no respect for the lovely grazing I now have for them. She is munching the rails! grrrrrrrrr!

Yup! Poo paint

Use droppings mixed with water to a very sloppy consistency then paint that on.

I'd thought of that but the rails have been painted so can't use it. Would have worked well too.
