recomend horse insurace ??

Mine are with NFU as is my horsebox, home contents and dogs.

They aren't the cheapest but there cover is thorough and although I have never had reason to claim (touches lots of wood) I know from family members that claims have been settled quickly etc
 
i've been with NFU for years with cover for horses, trailer and car. At renewal I searched the market but no other insurer came close in price.
Service has always been good.
 
im with petplan :) they are very good and easy to deal with and will happily talk to your vet and claims are easily paid without any trouble :)
 
Another vote for NFU. Others I know with them have been very pleased with claims service, me too. I've shopped around for twelve years before settling with NFU.
 
petplan all the way!!!we had our other horse insured with nfu and they where not only expensive but excluded all four legs for a claim on one leg with damaged tendons!!!
petplan always pay quickly and have just told me i can claim for teeth when prob was diagnosed nearly 10 months ago!!!!not many would do that!!!
 
I'm with NfU to and they have been great. However when my friends renewal came up, price had rocketed. She changed to KBIS. She recently had to have her horse PTS and they were very good with paying out.
 
hi im currently with Scottish equestrian who i find very reasonable. used to be with petpkan who were amazingly quick at dealing with claims but became to expensive. x
 
I have just had to put a claim in with Amtrust - claim for £1300 - the money was in my bank account 1 week from sending claims form. Believe me - I was as shocked as anyone - not com plaining tho - excellent service!
