Recommend a good head torch

Hi Everyone

I want people's opinions on the best brand of head torch, your recommendations would be muchly appreciated.

It needs to be nice and powerful as have to poo pick in the dark and do everything in the dark in winter at the yard.

We use Petzl, I think ours are the tikka (or some other silly name), they are very good, 3 beam choices and can be angled and very durable, have lasted 3 years despite being dropped and kicked about very regularly.

Mon - can you angle the beam downwards on the Lenser headtorch?

Why don't you just get the one Tanya got from Robert Dyas..?? It was cheap and its lasted ages she uses it everynight its still going strong, I can see it from Across the road when I come back from work... its bright sometimes I think its that security light!!!

These really are the business. I have one for my bike and it is SO bright. Far better than anything i've had before. And that includes Petzl tikkas which just seem to munch AAA batteries.
