As the title says , looking for recommendations for one of those over-size hoodie. Like the Oodie (but less pricey ideally !)
Something I can just chuck on to go and do morning stables.

Thanks in advance!

My two hoodies came from tog24 on special offer. So did my summer jacket.
The hoodie is zip through and currently costs £31.
Having a full length zip and pockets adds to the price.

I cant remember how I found this brand. But we take the Times newspaper so possibly there.

If you're not averse to it, Amazon. Mine was £18.

I struggle with the politics of Amazon but it's very difficult to hold onto principles when they're so much cheaper and there's not loads of spare cash lying around. Yes that makes me a hypocrite and I'm ok with admitting it. I do try not to use it though and won't if the price difference isn't huge.

Just buy any hoodie a size or two bigger, thats what I do - then they're nice and baggy. Im about to start selling personalised hoodies (and ones with horsey slogans on). They'll be around the £25 mark.

Oodies are thick fleece and much, much warmer than normal hoodies. They're also much longer - mine comes down to my knees.

Nice try at a bit of marketing ;), but a hoodie is nothing like an oodie or oodie rip off. Oodies are thick fleece and knee length, for a start.

There is a lot of competition in the personalised horsey hoodie market, btw, but good luck anyway.

Am I missing something? wont anything fleece based at the yard attract all the hair / hay / bedding and soon become horrible?

I'm used to it lol!
Plus a lot what I've seen seem to have a cotton type outer.
I just want something thats generous in size and warm that i can quickly chuck on.

I have one and I certainly wouldn’t wear it to the yard! I’d be covered in all sorts.

I'm fine at the yard - I just layer up and get working, and get warm (except my hands, but that's an ongoing Glove Quest). The problem is when I'm sat at my desk all day on my bum, not really moving. Then I get COLD. I usually give in and stick the heating on for 45 minutes around 2pm but if I could avoid the need for that it would be great.

if you want something for the yard, look at waterproof changing robes instead of the oodie type things! Waterproof outer, and fleecey inside. They're designed for surfers to warm up and dry off after surfing, and they are brilliant for horse stuff!

You beat me to it! I was literally just about to say for something warm that you can easily pull on for the horses a dryrobe or dryrobe equivalent is brilliant.

I also have a oodie copy and can’t see it being any good for doing the horses in. Brilliant for at home though!

I have an Oodie and a copy. The Oodie is definitely warmer. It is worth the extra $$ for me as I have saved on heating bills these past 2 Winters. I now give Oodie's as presents. It gets down to -8 in Winter here so definitely worth the money. I highly recommend them.

Not remotely equestrian, but Pull&Bear hoodies are fab. They’re owned by Zara but the sizes aren’t quite as tight. I’m usually an 8-10, purchased a size medium and it’s huge (goes to mid thigh) but it’s what I wanted. I believe they’re called oversized hoodies on the website and are around £23 super soft, wash up lovely and very cozy.
