Recommend a Kent Vet?

I have found a horse to buy in Kent near Deal- its too far for my vet and when i checked up on the vet the vendor recommended i found he had been in trouble with the RCVS for signing dodgy certs!!! Please help ASAP as i need to get him done before the weekend- Thankyou

Try my vets newnham court equine, they are just brillaint. I will pm you the number

I know the vet that you are talking about, and he is a very good vet - I can thoroughly recommend him. Also, there is Lady Dane who cover all around Canterbury/Deal/Dover/Ashford area. Whereabouts are you buying the horse from.

I would totally recommend Newnham court.

Lady Dane are closer but they are expensive.

I've tried both them and Bell equine and my top choice would be Newnham.

I'm with Susan W on this.The vet you are referring to is also my vet and is very good.I wouldn't let what you have heard put you off.I used to have Manor equine which I believe is connected to Bell equine but when they closed down I didn't want a vet that was so far away in case of an emergency.They are very good though.

Its always hard when you are miles away and dont know the area. Thanks for everyones advice- its much better than sticking a pin in the yellow pages! Im sure the vet in question is excellent which is why i didnt want to use names as we all make mistakes and it doesnt make us bad people! It was nice to be reassured x

My vet is Milbourn practice, Ashford. Can recommend all the vets there, but David McDOnald who runs the practice would be my preferred choice...
